Announcing Algy’s 5th Birthday Party…

On Monday 13th March 2017, Algy will celebrate his 5th birthday.

That’s 5 years of Algy’s Adventures on Tumblr!

Five years is a long, long time for a fluffy bird – even for one who is surprisingly fluffy. When Algy started his adventures in March 2012, he never dreamed that he would still be adventuring in 2017!

This could never have happened without YOU – all of Algy’s wonderful Tumblr friends and followers 🙂

So Algy is holding a very special Tumblr birthday party on his sideblog @lovefromalgy​ on Monday, and he hopes that you will all join in the celebrations and submit your own images to share with all Algy’s friends 🙂

Algy apologises for celebrating his birthday on a working day, but hopes that you will all be able to join the party at some time on Monday.

When? MONDAY 13TH MARCH 2017, from 12 noon GMT until late…

Where? On Algy’s own sideblog @lovefromalgy

How to join in the celebrations? Submit one or more images, or post on your own blog and send Algy a link – your own original work, please. And of course come along and enjoy the fun on the day, and late into the night 🙂

Algy will also be running a small retrospective of his five years of amazing adventures – on his main blog @adventuresofalgy – on Sunday 12th March and on Monday 13th March.

Let’s Dance All Weekend…

…to celebrate three whole years of The Adventures of Algy on Tumblr, and the forthcoming publication of Algy’s first book, which has grown out of his adventures. Three years ago, Algy had no idea that any of this would happen, and none of it would have been possible without YOU!

and good wishes on the occasion of his 3rd Tumblr birthday (Friday 13th
March), and for all your support, kindness, encouragement and friendship
over the past three years. It has been truly wonderful xoxo

So Algy will be celebrating all weekend on lovefromalgy, and invites you all to join in. Come and join the dance 🙂

And, for those who are interested, Algy wants you to know that his first book A Surprisingly Fluffy Bird
is making very exciting progress and should be available in six to
eight weeks time. It will be a wee bit later than he had hoped – of
course! Nothing runs on schedule in Algy’s world, and it has been a very
stormy winter… But it should be ready by late April, and Algy will then hold a big and very fluffy book launch party here on Tumblr 🙂
