Algy’s Balloon Helicopter

Algy received several new toys for his birthday, but his favourite was the balloon helicopter 🙂

Algy hopes you are all enjoying his birthday as much as he is! He thanks all his wonderful friends who have sent messages and greetings and contributions to his Amazing Tumblr Birthday Party on his sideblog @lovefromalgy and sends you all lots of his very fluffiest hugs xoxo

And if you have not yet had a chance to join in, the party is still in full swing 🙂

Algy’s adventure for the PWS Halloween special. This is what Algy found when he explored that special forest referred to in the posts of certain PWS members recently 🙂 So he decided to look the other way!

Have a happy, spooky, magical Halloween everybody xoxo

Thank you for this super-spooky (but nevertheless fluffy) Halloween GIF. Did you know that the word “Halloween” means “hallowed evening” or “holy evening” and comes from a Scottish term for All Hallows’ Eve (the evening before All Hallows’ Day)? What a coincidence… Or is it really?

PWS – Paranormal Witches & Spooks

Algy is thrilled to be a part of the PWS Halloween event, thank you xoxo

Have a happy and fluffily spooky Halloween tonight, everybody 🙂

It is indeed All Hallows’ Eve, and also the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, marking the beginning of the very darkest part of the year here in the northern Celtic lands. The two festivals combined have created the Halloween we know today 🙂

A little bird told Algy that today is the birthday of his very good friend Pete, aka tvoom and thevortexofourminds – who is also known, of course, for his wonderful work with photosworthseeing

Algy had heard that some people like to take balloon rides on their birthdays, so he reworked this GIF especially for his friend Pete – just in case – and says “hold very tight, please!”. Dear Pete, Algy hopes you have a truly wonderful day. He sends you lots of surprisingly fluffy special birthday hugs and wishes you alles Gute zum Geburtstag  xoxo

When Algy woke up the next day, it was Easter Sunday, and a beautiful bright, sunny day it was too! As he looked across the burn towards the other bank, he noticed that something rather unusual had happened in the night. Algy hurried over to investigate, and discovered a tiny chick which had just hatched out of an Easter egg. The wee chick seemed confused and uncertain how to proceed, finding itself suddenly in a strange new world, so Algy decided to teach it the Happy Dance without delay, and was very happy so see that the chick seemed to pick it up in no time…

Algy wishes a very Happy Easter to all his friends who celebrate Easter, and an exceptionally Happy Day to everyone! Algy says “Let’s all do the Happy Dance today!” :)))

Algy was so excited about Amy’s pictures that he wanted to show them to all the other birds and animals. Fortunately it was an unusually calm day, although very grey and damp, so Algy decided to create an art exhibition by pinning the pictures up in a small tree where all the creatures could see them.

Algy needed to make sure that he could keep the drawings safe when he took the exhibition down, so he asked his assistant whether she had something he could use to put them in. She helpfully provided a very smart folder intended for storing art work, but somehow it didn’t quite work out as Algy had hoped. It seemed very much as though the folder had ideas of its own…

The following day it rained and rained and rained, right through the day, and Algy didn’t dare get Amy’s beautiful drawings out to look at, because he knew that the rain would spoil them. So he had to wait another day… but eventually his patience was rewarded, and the rain stopped for a while. Algy quickly took the drawings out of their envelope and found that they were all different – there were some very fine portraits of him, two drawings of a beautiful princess, and a lovely full-colour drawing of a gorgeous female eagle. That was the one which Algy loved most of all, and he wondered whether it was a picture of Amy :))

[One of the drawings of the princess puzzled Algy’s assistant for a while, but Algy could of course see at once that it was a portrait of the princess doing her yoga, viewed from the back!]
