Peace Avatar for Paris

Algy’s assistant made her own version of the peace avatar for Paris to use on her Tumblr blogs, and she says please feel free to download and use the one she created (without the fluffy bird!) from her blog @jennychapmanartwork, if you would like to use it too.

This is the permalink for the image to download

Easter Message

Algy says: It has become traditional for “important” people in the world to issue messages of peace at Easter, and specifically to appeal for peace in areas of current conflict.

Algy’s assistant Jenny has therefore chosen this day to publish her other short film for peace, MESSAGE, which was created by some very “unimportant” people.

This short film was composited and animated from live footage and artwork created specially by the children of a remote Scottish community in order to send a message of peace to the world at a deeply troubled time in 2002/2003. Although this film was made years ago, the message is just as vital and urgent today.

You can watch the film (4 mins 25 secs) at jennychapmanartwork – Jenny’s new Tumblr blog which publishes her art work in various media.

Peace!

Welcome to Artwork by Jenny Chapman!

Algy would like to welcome you to a new Tumblr blog, which will show artwork in various media by Algy’s assistant Jenny Chapman.

Several of Algy’s Tumblr friends have asked about his assistant’s other work, so Algy persuaded his assistant to create a new sideblog. The purpose of is to show Jenny’s original artwork, as she makes it now and in the future, and including some work that she made in the past. It will include photography, drawings and paintings, short films and animation… and maybe more :))

All of Algy’s own adventures will continue to be posted on adventuresofalgy of course!

As is a secondary blog, it is not possible for either Algy or Jenny to “like”, comment or follow back from , so those functions will remain with adventuresofalgy as usual, and Algy and Jenny will follow original content blogs from here.

Algy hopes that you will follow Jenny’s new blog, and will enjoy her work. All signal boosts for will be much appreciated :)))

To start with a flourish, here is Jenny’s most “famous” work to date, the award-winning short film 3 Minutes Silence, made in late 2001. Peace is every step…
