Although it was cold, grey and very damp, with a touch of frost on the grass, it was also unusually calm, so Algy carried his friend the little black teddy to a comfy perch on a low, spreading branch of the big fir tree, and read him the story of The Tree with a Golden Heart – the latest in the series of Tales from the Adventures of Algy.
