20th August 2016  Today, Algy’s oldest and dearest friends are celebrating their 63rd Wedding Anniversary!

That is indeed something to celebrate, so Algy found them a pretty spray of real Scottish heather from the country which they love so much, and he joins with his assistants and friends around the world in sending them lots of love and lots of exceedingly fluffy hugs on this very special day xoxoxo

Algy and his friends were utterly amazed and overwhelmed by your fantastic response to his 2nd Tumblr birthday on 13th March. Your huge numbers of comments, notes, messages and fabulous contributions made it a very special day indeed. As some of Algy’s American Tumblr friends say, “YOU TOTALLY ROCK!” :))))  Algy loves you all ❤

And for those who are late in arriving at Algy’s party – who have travelled a very long distance, or got lost on the way – please don’t worry, there is still plenty of ice cream and cake left, and he will save some especially for you :))

It’s Party Time!

Welcome everybody, to Algy’s 2nd Tumblr Birthday Party! There is cake – homemade chocolate brownies with sour cherries and nuts: Algy’s favourite :))  And ice cream – banana splits with homemade real vanilla ice cream, yummmmm.  And a wee dram of Bruichladdich for the cognoscenti.

Algy has been amazed and utterly overwhelmed by all your kindness today – your many, many lovely contributions (still arriving!) and all of your wonderful messages and notes. He thanks you all from the bottom of his heart, and sends you all lots and lots of fluffy party hugs xoxoxox

Now Algy really does have a reason to continue his Adventures for another year – so that he can do this again next year! What a wonderful thing to look forward to :))))

It’s official: The Adventures of Algy turned 2 today!

The sun came out! And the weather forecast said that it might continue to shine for several more days. So Algy decided that he would like to build a special sandcastle on the beach, to celebrate his 2nd Anniversary on Tumblr. The only problem was, collecting sand for his castle seemed to be a very much slower and more arduous task for a fluffy bird than he had foreseen…

Yippppeeeeeeeeee!  Algy is on Tumblr Radar today!

Algy was beginning to feel a wee bit downhearted, having been trying to paddle his float away from the rocks for some time, when suddenly a Storm petrel swept by. “One of your adventures is on Tumblr Radar!” it cried, as it passed overhead.

Algy couldn’t believe it. He never dreamed that his adventures would be noticed by the Tumblr gods. Completely flabbergasted and amazed, Algy threw all caution to the winds and leaped into the sea to splash about wildly with joy!

Algy wants to thank the mysterious Tumblr gods and all the people who have been so kind as to follow, “like” or reblog his adventures on Tumblr. He sends a happy welcome to the hundreds of new followers he has acquired today, and very special thanks to those loyal followers and friends who have been supporting him over the past year. Thank you – Algy loves you all 🙂  xx
