The next few weeks…

… will be an exceedingly busy time for Algy, as he is overseeing the final stages of production for his very first book “A Surprisingly Fluffy Bird”.

Unfortunately, this means that Algy won’t be able to post his adventures quite as often as usual, and he won’t be able to keep up with all his friends’ posts here on Tumblr.

Algy is very sorry about this – he hates to miss your posts, and he likes to post adventures every day. But his assistant is only a feeble human, and she can’t quite manage to do everything at once.

So Algy hopes that you will forgive him. If he doesn’t “like” or comment on your posts quite as often as usual, it doesn’t mean that he has forgotten you – he’s just very busy!

But this won’t last long, and then things will return to normal 🙂

Adverse Weather Conditions!

Owing to the adverse weather conditions which Algy has been experiencing over the past few days, he is only able to connect to the internet intermittently at present. This means that his adventures may not appear every day, and he will not be able to keep up with all this Tumblr friends until normal conditions are restored. From his drenched perch on the rugged rocks, Algy sends his apologies, and lots of rather soggy fluffy hugs for you all :-))

(Note: adverse weather conditions = days of gale force winds and 6 inches of rain in 36 hours.)

Algy Apologises for the Interruption to his Adventures

Algy offers his sincere apologies to all his friends for this temporary interruption to his Adventures. The computer that Algy’s assistant uses for processing his adventures is failing without warning at increasingly frequent intervals and is no longer fit for purpose. Unfortunately it will have to be retired and replaced…

Algy would like to reassure you that the presentation of his Adventures will be resumed at normal frequency as soon as possible, and in the meantime Algy’s assistant will try to use an alternative machine whenever she can, so that Algy is not entirely absent from your screens.

Please don’t think that Algy has forgotten you – this is not the case at all :)) He is simply the innocent victim of a technical fault. He hopes that you will not forget him while his Adventures remain interrupted and sporadic.

By a strange twist of fate, this is Algy’s 500th post on Tumblr. It was supposed to be a celebratory post – but that will now have to wait until the 501st …
